In the air. Perceptions and misperceptions
Visual, olfactory, and sound walk. Open activity with registration

A visual, olfactory, and sound walk along the Besòs river shared with pantea (Iranian artist in residence, as part of Transversals Aesthetics: A l'aire) and Josep Perelló, physicist at the University of Barcelona, founder of the OpenSystems-UB group which promotes scientific research projects with citizen participation.
This walk will explore an urban landscape with emphasis on the air. On the one hand, we will focus on what is perceived by the senses (visual, olfactory, auditory); and on the other, on those constituents and particles which are more difficult to perceive, but which end up affecting the quality of life and health of the general public; air, considered as the element that makes life possible, and which in certain circumstances degrades social and cultural ecosystems.
Artistic and scientific research come together in this community walk which invites the public to walk along specific locations around the Besòs River; observing the air using creative imagination and sensory perception, and using scientific knowledge which measures it by other parameters and, forcing us to envision alternatives for the future.
