Description:
The Ravalstoltada is the celebration of Carnival in the Raval district. Promoted by the Casal dels Infants del Raval together with local organisations, residents and associations. There are activities during the Carnival Sunday morning for children, teenagers and families, and an evening costume parade which winds through the district, passing along Barcelona's Las Ramblas and the Parallel, formingpart of a community process which involves nearly thirty organisations in the area. Every year all participants choose the theme of the Carnival together, and thepreparation of costumes and props is integrated into the annual schedule of activities of the variousorganisations involved.
